The Journal of Applied Ecology and Ecological Solutions and Evidence are seeking two new Blog Editors to help run its highly successful blog site, The Applied Ecologist. This is a voluntary position with an initial term of 1 year, renewable for up to 3 years. The role is remote and can be based anywhere in the world. The Applied Ecologist blog receives approximately 70,000 page views per year and shares topical research from applied ecology, serving as a platform for the community and authors to communicate their work to a wider audience. It also discusses trends and topics of interest to ecologists in research and practical environmental management. The Blog Editor will be part of the journal’s Editorial Board and will work with the journals’ Editorial Offices to identify, commission, and deliver scientifically robust, high-quality content. The British Ecological Society, founded in 1904, has over 8000 members worldwide and publishes seven journals, science guides, and a membership magazine. They value diversity and the perspectives different backgrounds bring.
