About The Position

We are currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as a Block Laborer. This role is essential to maintaining the functionality and cleanliness of our block operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks that aid in the maintenance and operation of the plant. Duties will include but are not limited to shoveling, sweeping, steam cleaning, painting, lifting, pushing, and pulling various objects.

Requirements

• Ability to perform physical tasks and lift up to [specific weight] pounds.
• Strong work ethic and team player attitude.
• Willingness to work in varying weather conditions and perform a wide range of physical activities.
• Must adhere to all safety guidelines and wear provided personal protective equipment at all times.
• Willingness to undergo SRM’s pre-employment screenings.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a similar role or industry preferred but not required.
• Basic mechanical skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Shoveling: Manually move materials and clear areas to ensure safe and efficient plant operations.
• Sweeping and Cleaning: Maintain a clean work environment through sweeping debris and steam cleaning equipment and areas as required.
• Painting: Apply paints and coatings to equipment, signs, and infrastructure to maintain aesthetic appearance and safety standards.
• Lifting, Pushing, and Pulling: Safely handle materials, tools, and equipment, including the lifting, pushing, and pulling of various objects as necessary for daily operations.
