About The Position

The purpose of this position is to lead a shift in the Blending Department by monitoring and aiding in the Blend Department processes. This position monitors tank and fluid statuses to provide quality fluid for our internal and external customers, while providing superior customer service.

Responsibilities

Work Safely by identifying workplace hazards and notifying Management of those hazards before performing a task.
Follow all Company Safety Policies and Procedure
Participate in pre-shift safety/shift change meetings and complete required monthly safety training.
Report all Safety accidents and incidents to Management, generating an Accident/Incident report when the Shift Manager is off duty.
Prioritize blends and prepare blend checklists.
Monitor and aid in loading Outbound Bulk Loads, including generating Bill of Ladings.
Monitor and Maintain Tank Inventories and Transfer Forms.
Monitor Blend statuses to ensure all fluids are ready for internal and external customers.
Complete Safety walks twice a Shift with the aid of the Shift Manager.
Lead the shift by example with a positive attitude
Monitor Blending processes, including Boiler checks, and notify the Shift Manager of any issues that arise.
Work within the team to complete tasks and achieve Departmental goals.
Communicate with all departmental employees and interact with Plant personnel
Other duties and responsibilities assigned by Management
