Requirements

  • Basic math, reading, and writing skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Ability to work in a dusty environment with strong odors and high noise/decibel levels
  • Ability to work in an environment with potential exposure to chemicals and cleaning agents
  • Ability to work overtime on short notice and on weekends
  • Ability to work in a team environment

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3 years in a manufacturing environment
  • Proven mechanical ability
  • Preweigh experience
  • SAP experience

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate between scheduling and warehouse team daily concerning any raw material variances
  • Return remaining raw materials after Preweigh processes complete according to warehouse specifications
  • Follow all instructions on production cards and daily schedule
  • Keep accurate production records and accurate reporting in SAP and report information daily
  • Inspect raw materials, in-process, and finished goods for proper weight, color, overall appearance, texture, labeling, packaging, and correcting/reporting defects
  • Coordinate with supervisors daily concerning any scheduling variances and process improvements.
  • Perform proper sanitation, housekeeping, and safety procedures
  • Help maintain equipment, reporting, and/or resolving any breakdowns or problems
  • Participate in all team/department meetings
  • Actively participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives
