Requirements

Basic math, reading, and writing skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Basic computer knowledge
Ability to work in a dusty environment with strong odors and high noise/decibel levels
Ability to work in an environment with potential exposure to chemicals and cleaning agents
Ability to work overtime on short notice and on weekends
Ability to work in a team environment

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED
3 years in a manufacturing environment
Proven mechanical ability
Preweigh experience
SAP experience

Responsibilities

Coordinate between scheduling and warehouse team daily concerning any raw material variances
Return remaining raw materials after Preweigh processes complete according to warehouse specifications
Follow all instructions on production cards and daily schedule
Keep accurate production records and accurate reporting in SAP and report information daily
Inspect raw materials, in-process, and finished goods for proper weight, color, overall appearance, texture, labeling, packaging, and correcting/reporting defects
Coordinate with supervisors daily concerning any scheduling variances and process improvements.
Perform proper sanitation, housekeeping, and safety procedures
Help maintain equipment, reporting, and/or resolving any breakdowns or problems
Participate in all team/department meetings
Actively participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives
