The Blender Operator is responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of a blender for the production of food and beverage products. This role involves operating computer-based automated blending, pasteurizing, finished products, and CIP systems, while maintaining sterility of the Pasteurizer. The operator will keep accurate logs of daily activities, maintain inventory and shift reports, and troubleshoot blending equipment and related lines. Administrative tasks, periodic tear-down of pasteurizers and lines, and verification of ingredient staging are also key responsibilities. The position requires close collaboration with other team members, clear communication regarding product changes or issues, and performing lab tests to support the blending process. Adherence to GMP, Safety, SOP, and HACCP procedures is mandatory. The role also involves using mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot equipment, performing tanker unloading, and maintaining a clean work environment. Specific duties include flavoring juices/drinks, identifying spoiled products by smell, entering confined spaces, training new blenders, cross-training in other jobs, and assisting other departments as needed.
