Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Successful completion (C or better) of high school chemistry and math
• Current driver’s license and Henkel forklift certification required

Responsibilities

• Perform all aspects of blending liquid products which includes, but not limited to the following:
• Oversee the Sanitization Program including but not limited to Knowledge of chemical and steam sanitization processes
• Deliverance of steam through the system to mixers and storage tanks
• Maintenance and preparation of sanitization totes
• Coordination of sanitization between Packaging and Blending Operators
• Ensure the safe handling of all chemicals in compliance with OSHA standards
• Ensure the proper and safe cleanup or reporting of spills.
• Ensure the proper operation of the hot and cold R.O. water system to include monitoring of regeneration times start to finish as needed
• Maintain thorough knowledge of the computer batching program.
• Ensure Good Manufacturing Practices are used in the manufacture of safe, hygienic product.
• Transfer of finished product from mixers to storage and storage to storage.
• Read and understand the Blenders Training Manual.
• Perform inventory of raw chemicals as needed.
• Clean up work area and help others clean their areas if needed
• Communicate with all departments in which Liquids is involved
