About The Position

The Blender Technician uses raw ingredients to blend juice products according to product specifications. The role has no supervisory responsibilities and works in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices.

Requirements

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Thorough understanding of and ability to operate complex and basic tools.
Demonstrated accuracy and thoroughness, with the ability to complete work in a timely manner.
Ability to handle frequent change, delays, or unexpected events and react well under pressure.
Extremely accurate and detail-oriented.
High school diploma or equivalent, or at least 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must obtain a current and valid forklift and pallet jack operator's license within seven working days of initial hire or placement in the position and maintain it.

Responsibilities

Obtain raw ingredients and other necessary materials, and use the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to record raw-material usage.
Pump and blend concentrate according to formulations provided by the Quality Assurance Department.
Operate pasteurizers to meet product specifications and safe food-processing guidelines.
Complete blend sheets and related paperwork accurately, legibly, and on time.
Collect tanker samples according to company policies and procedures and deliver them to Quality Assurance for testing.
Monitor work to ensure food safety and quality, and promptly report concerns or issues to a supervisor or Quality Assurance.
Communicate with Production, Planning, and Quality Assurance throughout the process and during shift changes.
Wash and sanitize silos, tanks, and production lines using approved CIP methods.
Perform quality checks and testing as determined by the Quality Department or management.
Perform other duties as assigned.
