About The Position

This position is responsible for properly weighing and mixing pesticide and fertilizer ingredients according to analysis; adding metered active ingredients; premixing liquid active ingredients; coordinating distribution to the appropriate lines and systems; and completing batching and production records. The role carries out daily batching activities according to established procedures and production schedules, coordinating with bagging, bulk loading, and plant operations. It maintains product quality and quantity controls, performs general maintenance and housekeeping in the batching area, and works under close supervision within clearly defined procedures. The listed shift is 2nd shift, 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience required.
• Able to stand or sit for extended periods.
• Able to frequently lift, push, or pull up to 60 pounds.
• Able to climb, stoop, or kneel at heights up to 100 feet.
• Able to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions and temperatures, with possible exposure to dust, fumes, moderate noise, uneven surfaces, and industrial chemicals.
• Basic skills in an analytical or scientific method or operational process; able to follow standard operating procedures and quality guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily batching activities according to established procedures and production schedules, coordinating with bagging, bulk loading, and plant operations.
• Maintain quality and quantity controls to ensure the correct amounts and types of ingredients are mixed.
• Mix, blend, and add inert ingredients into the scale hopper using batcher equipment controls according to the desired analysis.
• Accurately complete and submit daily batching and production paperwork.
• Perform general maintenance and housekeeping of the batching operation area and systems.
