About The Position

This position is responsible for properly weighing and mixing pesticide and fertilizer ingredients according to analysis; adding metered active ingredients; premixing liquid active ingredients; coordinating distribution to the appropriate lines and systems; and completing batching and production records. The role performs daily batching activities according to established procedures and production schedules, maintains quality and quantity controls, operates batching equipment, completes required paperwork, and maintains the batching area and systems.

Requirements

• 0–2 years of relevant experience required.
• Ability to stand or sit for an extended period.
• Ability to frequently lift, push, or pull up to 60 pounds.
• Ability to climb, stoop, or kneel at heights up to 100 feet.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions and temperatures, with possible exposure to dust, fumes, moderate noise, uneven surfaces, and industrial chemicals.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily batching activities according to established procedures and production schedules, coordinating with bagging, bulk loading, and plant operations.
• Maintain quality and quantity controls to ensure products contain the correct types and amounts of ingredients.
• Mix, blend, and inert ingredients into the scale hopper using batcher equipment controls according to the desired analysis.
• Complete and submit daily batching and production paperwork accurately.
• Perform general maintenance and housekeeping of the batching operation area and systems.
