The Blend Plant Operator role involves receiving, unloading, preparing, and loading liquid and dry chemical products from/to trucks, tankers, and railcars. This is a physical role requiring attention to detail, including maneuvering and connecting/disconnecting transfer hoses, climbing tanks, and inspecting equipment. Responsibilities also include verifying product against documents, sampling for quality control, maintaining logs, picking and staging products for delivery, operating forklifts, moving materials, repackaging products, and ensuring proper labeling and storage. The role also includes general maintenance of the warehouse, spill cleanup, inventory examination, and participation in safety programs. The position requires availability for any shift, including overtime and weekends, and a commitment to company policies and safety procedures. Successful candidates must pass a drug screen, background check, E-verify, and be capable of obtaining a TWIC card if applicable. The role has no supervisory responsibilities and requires the ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including respirators, and perform all material handling functions. Physical demands include prolonged standing and walking, operating forklifts and pallet jacks, and climbing stairs and ladders. The role is frequently exposed to outside weather conditions.
