About The Position

This role involves maintaining the racetrack and property through routine repairs, painting, and various maintenance activities. The position requires driving water trucks or spreader trucks on the harness racing track during the live racing season, and vehicle maintenance, snow removal, and other duties during the off-season. Team members are required to join the Teamsters Union after 90 days of employment.

Requirements

Must possess a high school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CDL Required
Must join the Teamsters Union after 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

Maintains racetrack and property performing routine repairs, painting and maintenance activities.
Replaces HVAC and smoke eater filters.
Notifies management concerning need for any repairs.
Removes snow, ice, and debris from all facility entrances and walk ways.
Maintains exterior grounds and parking lot.
Maintains floor cleanliness.
Communicates inventory supply status to management.
Performs daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks.
Reports on any observed security, environmental and health and safety related concerns and any equipment malfunctions.
Promotes superior guest service.
Driving water trucks or a spreader truck on our harness racing track in between races during live racing season.
Maintenance of the vehicles and snow removal on property, and other duties as assigned during the off season.
