About The Position

Assist in daily operations of the blasting department, assuring quality of products, and aiding in the coordination and completion of department operations to meet production needs.

Requirements

Highschool diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
Excellent communication skills.
Some math skills.
Chemical processes and usage.

Responsibilities

Inspects all products staged for finishing prior to moving to the next department; allocating parts for blasting process if needed.
Process necessary parts through blasting equipment safely and effectively, ensuring surface quality of raw parts before sending them to next department.
Maintain blasting equipment and collaborate with maintenance team as appropriate for equipment repairs.
Understands how to use specialized equipment such as blasters.
Other duties as assigned.
