About The Position

Support licensed blasters with underground drilling and blasting activities while following all safety protocols. Prepare blast areas by handling tools, materials, and equipment needed for daily operations. Assist with loading, stemming, and securing blast sites under direct supervision. Conduct routine inspections, housekeeping, and maintenance to ensure safe underground conditions. Communicate clearly with team members to ensure efficient, safe production activities.

Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to work safely in underground mining or heavy industrial environments
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to following safety procedures and instructions
• Physical capability to perform manual tasks in confined and physically demanding settings
• Willingness to learn blasting operations and support production goals as part of a team
• Dependable, adaptable, and able to work varying shifts as operationally required
