About The Position
Valence Surface Technologies is a full-service surface finishing company specializing in the commercial aerospace, defense, space and satellite industries. With ten strategically located sites across the United States, Valence provides a start to finish solution from NDT and chemical processing, to paint and sub-assembly. The blast position will use high pressure equipment to clean and prepare parts for processing.
Requirements
- High School Diploma required
- Must be eligible for employment under U.S. export control laws
- Must meet the requirement of being a “US Persons”
Nice To Haves
- Prior manufacturing experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Determine priority of jobs to begin preparing for processing
- Select appropriate media according to specifications and customer requirements
- Complete paperwork as required by company and processing guidelines
- Ensure proper PPE is worn and safety guidelines are followed
- Maintain a clean working area at all times by disposing of any unnecessary trash
- Ensure all hazardous waste material is disposed of correctly
- Other duties as assigned
