About The Position
Responsible for placing stacks of filled product racks into the blast tunnel. The primary tasks involve grasping a stack of product racks on a wheel, pulling or pushing the stack to position it in one of three lanes in the blast tunnel, aligning the wheels with tracks in the floor, and pushing the stack onto the tracks and the blast tunnel chain. The chain will then pull the product through the blast tunnel. Other tasks include assisting in removing rack spills and picking up fallen product according to procedure.
Requirements
- At least six months of relative operator experience with a single employer within the last 12 months.
- Willing and able to meet the physical demands of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Responsibilities
- Placing stacks of filled product racks into the blast tunnel.
- Grasping a stack of product racks on a wheel.
- Pulling or pushing the stack to position it in one of three lanes in the blast tunnel.
- Aligning the wheels with tracks in the floor of the blast tunnel.
- Pushing the stack onto the tracks and onto the blast tunnel chain.
- Releasing the stack of racks so the blast tunnel chain can pull it through.
- Assisting in removing rack spills in the blast tunnel as needed.
- Picking up product that falls out of a rack and processing it according to procedure.
