About The Position
Due to exciting growth, SRG Global Mining Services is looking for skilled Blast Crew members to join our long-term Goldfields projects on various rosters on Dayshift only. You’ll be working with a professional team that values clear communication, safety, and efficiency backed by competitive pay, modern equipment, and industry-leading facilities. The Blast Crew plays a crucial role in enabling productive mining or construction operations through expert handling of explosive materials and meticulous adherence to operational guidelines. Requirements
- C Class Drivers Licence (Manual)
- Dangerous Goods Security Card
- Ability to perform labouring duties
- Good communication and organisational skills, with an emphasis on teamwork
- Pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol assessment
Nice To Haves
- Heavy Rigid (HR) Drivers License
Responsibilities
- Safely execute blasting operations following safety protocols
- Prepare blast patterns for efficient fragmentation and environmental protection
- Load explosives with precision and safety supervision
- Inspect blast areas for safety and environmental compliance
- Maintain blasting equipment and tools in optimal condition
