The Blast Booth Operator is responsible for cleaning parts to Kato standards using blast booth operation, chipping, and grinding. This role involves moving material, marking parts for identification, and following manufacturing sequence procedures. The operator will also manage the wash and paint booth area and perform daily/weekly TPM tasks with accuracy and consistency. Safety regulations must be followed at all times. This position requires five thousand (5,000) hours of experience to perform work proficiently and may involve performing other duties as designated by the supervisor within the same salary grade or below. A general knowledge of blast booth and wash/paint booth operation is required. The ideal candidate will have a vocational or high school graduate or equivalent education and must be a sole US citizen.
