About The Position

PENN Entertainment is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join their team as Blackjack Dealers. This role is part of a structured training program designed to equip candidates with the necessary skills to become successful Table Games Dealers. The company emphasizes a fun, fast-paced, and diverse work environment with opportunities for career growth and support. The training program includes two weeks of hands-on Blackjack fundamentals, followed by an audition for casino floor placement. Opportunities exist for both Part-Time Blackjack Dealer and Full-Time Dealer/Supervisor (Dual Rate) paths. The position involves late evening/overnight shifts.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 or older and eligible for a valid gaming license.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule – nights, weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime.
  • Excited to learn at Dealer School where you’ll be trained on table games, policies, and procedures.
  • Comfortable with numbers and able to pass a basic math test during the interview.
  • Strong communication skills – fluent in English, both spoken and written.
  • A passion for great customer service and building positive guest experiences.
  • High energy with a team-player mindset and the ability to handle challenges professionally.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and accurate when handling chips, cash, and calculations.

Responsibilities

  • Learn the rules, procedures, and variations of Blackjack and other table games.
  • Develop skills in handling cards, chips, and cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Understand game security and how to protect company assets while ensuring fair play.
  • Practice delivering excellent guest service by engaging with players in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Gain knowledge of company policies, departmental procedures, and state gaming regulations.
  • Deal 4 days/week and supervise 1 day/week during the first 90 days for the Full-Time Dealer/Supervisor path.
  • Receive ongoing shadowing and mentorship as you transition into leadership for the Full-Time Dealer/Supervisor path.
