We are looking for you to join our team as a Principal/ Senior Principal BIT Systems Engineer based out of Linthicum, MD and will require 100% on-site work.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience, master's degree with 3 years of experience or Ph.D. with 1 year of experience in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or related technical fields; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree for Senior Principal.
U.S Citizenship is required
A current/active U.S. Government Secret Clearance
Experience with MATLAB for Data Analysis
Domain experience in sensor simulations for RF sensors
Experience with integration and test of RADAR, SIGINT, or EW systems
Experience in reviewing C/C++ code

Nice To Haves

Advanced degrees in in Science, Technology, Engineer, or Mathematics or other related technical fields.
Active DoD Top Secret Clearance or higher

Responsibilities

Apply strong systems engineering knowledge and understanding across disciplines and work with the various systems, hardware, and software teams.
Verify that BIT Mode functions and systems operate effectively, ensuring errors are captured, corrected, or compensated for without impacting sensor performance.
Derive BIT requirements
Design of the BIT and Fault Isolation/Detection mode(s)
Evaluate the effectiveness of modeling and analysis
Gain a deep understanding of Sensors Hardware capabilities
Lead a team to develop and integrate software using C++ and Python
Define requirements to maintain system performance.
Verify embedded implementation of the BIT mode.
Produce publication-quality documentation and supporting Factory Test activities
Engage in system integration and test activities, as well as providing field support.
