About The Position

General Hotels Corporation is seeking a motivated and dependable Bistro Supervisor to join our Food & Beverage team at the Courtyard by Marriott in Muncie. We’re looking for someone who leads by example, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and understands how important great service is to the overall guest experience. As Bistro Supervisor, you’ll help oversee daily bistro operations while supporting team members, maintaining service standards, and creating a welcoming environment for guests. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hospitality, takes initiative, and knows how to balance leadership with teamwork.

Requirements

• Previous food service, restaurant, or hospitality experience required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and lead in a fast-paced environment
• Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities
• Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented mindset
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Nice To Haves

• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Help oversee daily bistro and food service operations
• Ensure guests receive prompt, friendly, and professional service
• Assist with scheduling, shift coverage, and daily operational needs
• Monitor cleanliness, food presentation, and service standards
• Handle guest concerns professionally and work toward positive resolutions
• Assist with inventory, stocking, and supply organization
• Maintain compliance with safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
• Lead by example and help create a positive team atmosphere
