Responsible for the overall guest experience as it relates to education, delivery and presentation of bistro food and beverage. Promotes superior guest service. Maintains, and perpetuates a positive organizational culture according to the principles of the Spirit of Tâlícn and the Core Values of ilani. Greets guests, explains bistro menu, answers questions, and makes suggestions regarding food, coffee, and additional beverage options. Takes and delivers guest orders. Performs all services as determined by establishment’s size and practices. Performs Room service delivery duties. Presents check, accepts payment, and makes change. Performs side duties including cleaning tables, restocking-items, filling ice bins, set up, cleaning using compounds. Has complete knowledge of the legal drinking age and procedures. Checks for acceptable identification for guests who appear to be under 30 years of age and are attempting to consume or purchase alcoholic beverages. Has knowledge of the effects of alcohol on the body and its ability to impair mental/physical abilities and thereby uses good judgment when serving alcoholic beverages. Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information. Performs other duties as assigned.
