About The Position

The Bistro Attendant is to prepare alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages, Specialty coffees and serve/prepare food in accordance within the brand's quality and control standards. To assist in the overall duties of the daily operation of the F&B department including meeting banquets to efficiently serve all hotel patrons in a courteous and professional manner. To maintain proper sanitation at all times as per local health department regulations and guidelines. Candidates should have flexibility.

Requirements

Ability to stand for 8 hours, lift push pull up to 20lbs
Food Handlers Card Required
Be willing and have the ability to work a varied schedule that may include evenings, nights, and weekends
Previous food and beverage experience

Responsibilities

Report to the Chef or the shift supervisor at the beginning of your shift.
Complete duties as assigned by the Chef.
Assist the Chef or shift supervisor in checking for proper food and taste.
Check staffing levels. Inform appropriate staff members of any call outs and notify of any changes. Consult with the Chef or supervisor if reinforcements need to be called.
Check warewashing machine for proper temperature and chemical level.
Make sure appropriate dishes and silverware are set up nearby for easy access during your shift.
Ensure the MICROS equipment is in correct functioning order and all supplies are stocked and available.
Six hour shifts.
