About The Position

The beautiful voco St. Augustine is looking for a friendly, dependable team member to serve guests in our boutique-style hotel Bistro. This part-time position combines food service, bartending, and light food preparation. If you enjoy working with people, take initiative, and keep things running smoothly, we'd like to meet you. You'll help create a relaxed, welcoming place where guests can enjoy a meal or a drink during their stay.

Requirements

• A welcoming personality and attentive guest service.
• Reliable attendance and the initiative to handle tasks without constant direction.
• The ability to manage several orders and stay organized during busy periods.
• Availability for part-time shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Shifts will include evenings hours.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, carry trays, and perform routine bar and food preparation duties.

Nice To Haves

• Previous serving, bartending, café, or food preparation experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests, answer menu questions, and take food and beverage orders.
• Serve beer, wine, and specialty drinks according to hotel recipes and service standards.
• Prepare and plate simple menu items with attention to quality, portions, and presentation.
• Process payments and handle cash accurately.
• Keep the Bistro, bar, dining area, and food preparation spaces clean, organized, and stocked.
• Complete opening and closing duties, including setup, cleaning, and restocking.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service procedures.
