About The Position

This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and proper stocking of dining room supplies. The attendant will also be responsible for restocking beverages, condiments, and paper goods, as well as placing food on trays and restocking grab-and-go areas. Additionally, the role involves removing trash, cleaning various areas of the dining room, and using commercial cleaning chemicals. The attendant will take ownership of their workstation and may utilize student employee support. Duties may be assigned based on business needs.

Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred
Computing skills to make cash change, track inventory, create # Of pieces for a portion by performing adding, subtracting, multiplication and division
Ability to read on a level to comprehend product labels, recipes and safety instructions
Ability to interact with customers, coworkers, and vendors in a diplomatic manner
Ability to work effectively as a team member
Ability to perform a variety of tasks in a variety of locations and determine the order and sequence with limited daily supervisory direction.

Responsibilities

Take proper food and equipment temperatures.
Responsible for the cleanliness, appearance and proper stocking of dining room supplies.
Replaces and stocks beverage such as milk, soda syrup or cartridges, and ice.
Restocks condiments and paper goods such as cups, napkins, creamer, sugar and toppings.
Places food on trays, baskets or dispensers for self service.
Restocks grab-and-go areas with prepackaged items.
Removes trash to the dumpsters.
Cleans tables, chairs, floors, trash and service areas.
Uses commercial strength chemicals to clean, sanitize and polish.
Takes ownership for the workstation utilizing student employee support.
Any duties as assigned based on business needs.
