About The Position

Courtyard by Marriott is looking for a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Bistro Attendant to join our team. The Bistro Attendant is responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests by preparing food and beverages, maintaining a clean and inviting dining area, and creating a welcoming experience for every guest.

Requirements

• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Ability to handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
• Must be flexible to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice To Haves

• Previous food service, restaurant, or hospitality experience preferred
• Food handler certification preferred (or ability to obtain)

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide friendly, professional service
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
• Prepare and serve menu items, beverages, and specialty drinks according to standards
• Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems and process guest transactions
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Bistro area, including tables, counters, and equipment
• Restock food, beverages, and supplies as needed
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and Marriott brand standards
• Assist guests with menu questions and provide recommendations
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
• Ensure a positive dining experience by anticipating and responding to guest needs
• Support other hotel departments as needed to enhance guest satisfaction
