York General is seeking an enthusiastic, service-minded individual to join our team as Bistro Attendants —supporting both our Assisted Living and brand-new Independent Living communities. If you love connecting with people and creating a warm dining experience, we’d love to meet you!
Requirements
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Basic math and customer-service skills
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Friendly, positive attitude and a strong team spirit
- Flexibility to work in multiple dining environments
Responsibilities
- Prepare, serve, and present bistro-style meals, snacks, and beverages
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents, guests, and visitors
- Assist with maintaining a clean, welcoming, and organized dining area
- Support food prep and restock supplies as needed
- Operate point-of-sale system (training provided)
- Assist with dishwashing, cleaning, and food storage to keep the café running smoothly
- Adapt to duties in both Assisted Living and Independent Living dining areas
