NORY, a leading STEM camp provider in NYC and Boston, is seeking enthusiastic Birthday Party STEM Assistant Specialists to create magical and transformative STEM-focused birthday experiences for children. The role involves engaging kids through hands-on STEM activities and high-energy celebrations, making each child feel special. NORY offers STEM training, and opportunities for future teaching roles in holiday camps, afterschool programs, and summer camps. The company mission is to make learning fun and meaningful for kids.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience teaching children and facilitating engaging activities and events.
• Genuine love for children and a knack for turning every birthday into an unforgettable adventure.
• Ability to transform routine activities into lively, laughter-filled moments.
• Masterful organizational and behavioral management skills to ensure smooth-sailing festivities.
• Steadfast punctuality and professionalism.

Nice To Haves

• Theater or acting background, or a passion for crafting immersive experiences for kids.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setup and materials organization, arriving at least 15 minutes early.
• Assist with activity facilitation.
• Assist with light prep work.
• Assist with post-event clean-up.
• Collect and return materials to NORY HQ in Midtown Manhattan, as needed.
