About The Position
WonderWorks Orlando is an indoor amusement park that combines education and entertainment with more than 100 hands-on exhibits that challenge the mind and spark the imagination. As a Birthday Host, you will be the life of the party for our partygoers! From setup to cleanup, Birthday Hosts create WONDERful experiences for guests by orchestrating interactive games and serving delicious treats!
Requirements
- Observational skills to ensure safe practices and recognize guest needs
- Excellent communication skills and customer service skills
- Ability to stand, stoop, bend, and walk throughout the work area for prolonged periods
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 45 pounds
- Must be available to work Saturday and Sunday from 9:30AM-6:30PM and ANY time for one weekday shift.
Nice To Haves
- Previous themed entertainment experience is preferred
- Ability to work any shift including nights, weekends, and holidays
Responsibilities
- Greet, interact with, and provide exceptional guest service to party guests with a positive, upbeat attitude
- Check in party group and guide them to party area
- Set up the birthday room based on party package and clean up after each party
- Assist with any party package add-ons and verify that all remaining balances have been collected
- Serve food and drinks to all party guests
- Monitor to make sure the party runs smoothly and on schedule
- Perform other duties as assigned
