About The Position

The Birthday Host is responsible for ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for birthday parties. This role involves managing party logistics, interacting with guests, and maintaining a positive atmosphere. The host must be knowledgeable about park operations, menu items, and service sequences, while also promoting upsells and handling payments. Key duties include greeting guests, communicating party details, serving food and drinks, preparing for cake ceremonies, and assisting with general server duties during downtime.

Requirements

Must be 16 years of age or older.
Ability to review and understand confirmation sheets and contracts.
Clear communication skills with parents regarding party details.
General knowledge of park operations, safety guidelines, and menu items.
Ability to promote upsell options.
Adherence to the 7 Service Sequence Guide.
Ability to anticipate guest needs.
Prompt service of food and drinks.
Knowledge of pizza charts, allergens, and alternatives.
Ability to entertain guests appropriately.
Maintain cleanliness and restock supplies.
Promptly communicate guest concerns to management.
Ability to prepare and serve cake.
Assist with gift organization.
Facilitate wristband distribution.
Process payments and verify IDs.
Ability to reset tables quickly.
Willingness to assist with general server duties and dishwashing during downtime.
Stay informed on weekly specials and packages.
Maintain a courteous, cooperative, and professional atmosphere.

Responsibilities

Review and understand confirmation sheets and contracts.
Greet parents and party participants, introduce yourself, and explain timelines.
Communicate clearly with parents about table time, height requirements, purchase minimums, package details, open tabs, and seating arrangements.
Maintain general knowledge of park operations, safety guidelines, and menu items.
Promote upsell options in a friendly, informative manner.
Follow the 7 Service Sequence Guide and anticipate guest needs.
Ensure drinks and food are served promptly, prioritizing the birthday child.
Understand pizza charts, allergens, and available alternatives.
Entertain guests appropriately based on age and party type.
Maintain cleanliness throughout the event; clear tables and restock supplies.
Communicate guest concerns to team leaders or managers promptly.
Prepare and serve cake; lead birthday song and assist with gift organization.
Facilitate wristband distribution and explain benefits.
Review receipts with parents, process payments, and verify IDs when necessary.
Reset tables quickly for upcoming parties and maintain a guest-ready environment.
Assist with general server duties and dishwashing during downtime.
Stay informed on weekly specials and Pinz packages.
Maintain a courteous, cooperative, and professional atmosphere for guests and staff.
