This role is responsible for compassionately and accurately collecting required information and identification for the timely completion of birth certificates, following all necessary steps to ensure validity. The Birth Registrar will clearly and effectively communicate Texas Laws and regulations of paternity to intended parents to ensure understanding and compliance. This position ensures compliance with state of Texas laws and regulations, obtains completed ImmTrac (Texas Immunization) Registration Form and Social Security Form from parents, and assists parents with paternity paperwork, denials, and information changes. The Birth Registrar must be knowledgeable in all areas of birth registration including Surrogacy and Adoption and meet all required deadlines, including submitting documentation within 5 days of every birth. The role requires efficient work in a fast-paced environment and utilization of multiple software systems, including but not limited to Epic and Texas Electronic Vital Events Registrar (TxEver), to finalize all required documents.
