Bird Removal Technician
About The Position
Ecolab is hiring a Bird Removal Technician to work directly with commercial customers, identify and resolve bird-related issues, and help maintain safe, bird-free environments. The role combines hands-on technical work with customer interaction, including inspecting facilities, recommending and implementing bird control solutions, and educating customers on prevention techniques and bird behavior. The technician provides responsive service, builds customer relationships, adapts to changing field conditions, and travels to customer sites in a company vehicle. Paid training and career advancement opportunities are offered. The position is based near Lakeland, Florida, with local travel within a 150–250-mile radius. The work week is Sunday through Thursday, with on-call responsibilities.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Current, valid, unrestricted driver's license.
- Residence within 50 miles of Lakeland, Florida.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
- Frequent bending, kneeling, and reaching.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions.
- Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and use lifts.
- Ability to travel long distances to customer sites.
- Must complete a background check and a drug test, including THC, if offered the position, due to federal contract requirements.

- Experience in pest control, wildlife control, or field service roles.

- Mechanical or equipment operation experience.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
