About The Position

We are seeking a highly knowledgeable and experienced Philippines-based CPA or BIR Accredited Tax Specialist/Trainer to provide technical guidance, tax compliance support, and professional training on Philippine taxation and accounting-related matters. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with BIR regulations, Philippine tax compliance, tax filing requirements, accounting principles, and tax advisory, combined with excellent communication and training skills. This role will be responsible for delivering practical and easy-to-understand tax training, developing training materials, answering technical tax questions, and ensuring that training content remains aligned with current Philippine tax laws, BIR regulations, issuances, and compliance requirements.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
CPA license or BIR accreditation is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Philippine taxation and BIR compliance.
Previous experience in tax consulting, accounting, BIR compliance, or tax training.
Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to explain technical tax concepts in a simple and practical manner.

Responsibilities

Provide accurate guidance on Philippine taxation, BIR regulations, and tax compliance requirements.
Interpret and explain relevant tax laws, BIR Revenue Regulations, Revenue Memorandum Circulars, Revenue Memorandum Orders, and other tax-related issuances.
Provide practical advice on income tax, VAT, percentage tax, withholding taxes, expanded withholding tax, compensation tax, and other applicable Philippine taxes.
Assist in identifying tax compliance requirements, potential risks, and areas for improvement.
Review tax-related processes and provide recommendations to improve accuracy and compliance.
Respond to technical tax questions and provide clear, well-supported explanations.
Deliver training on Philippine taxation, BIR compliance, and accounting-related topics.
Develop and maintain tax training materials, presentations, SOPs, and practical guides.
Provide technical guidance on BIR regulations, tax filing, withholding taxes, VAT, income tax, and other applicable taxes.
Research and communicate updates to Philippine tax laws and BIR issuances.
Review tax-related processes and identify compliance risks or areas for improvement.
Respond to tax-related questions and provide accurate, practical recommendations.
