About The Position
This position is with a large General Practice (GP) Firm that offers Cravath-level compensation. The firm is very active in Inter Partes Review (IPR) filings and represents petitioners at the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB). The firm is recognized as a national "Tier 1" Law Firm in Patent Law by U.S. News – Best Law Firms. Candidates will have a strong technical background in the biological sciences and a commitment to providing exceptional client service. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications, evaluating patent portfolios, and performing due diligence investigations.
Requirements
- Registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office
- Ph.D. in Biology, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology, Chemistry, or a related discipline
- Excellent academic credentials
- Outstanding organizational and communication skills (written and oral)
- Leadership skills
- Comfortable working directly with clients
- Ability to work well with others
- Admitted to the patent bar
- Associate candidates must be admitted to the Massachusetts Bar or eligible for admission to the Massachusetts Bar
