About The Position

Delsys is seeking a motivated engineer with a strong interest in hardware design for wearable and non-contact physiological sensing systems. The role works with the Hardware team to evolve the existing product portfolio and develop rapid prototypes that advance research concepts toward commercialization. Delsys uses a cross-disciplinary engineering approach to develop physiological measurement solutions combining biopotential, optical, inertial, force/pressure, and imaging technologies. The engineer will conduct exploratory work to inform research projects and deliver key tasks for existing products in manufacturing and distribution. The position involves hands-on electrical and mechanical design, organized problem-solving across multiple projects, and collaboration with engineering and research teams on experiments, analysis, and reporting. Strong communication and documentation skills are required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, or biomedical engineering.
  • Strong command of electronics and electrical concepts.
  • Interest in all aspects of product design, from ideation through release.
  • Comfort working with computer-aided design (CAD) software for circuit simulation, schematic capture, and PCB layout.
  • Ability to solve problems independently.
  • Must be able to show work eligibility.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Strong background in electrical and mechanical engineering and ability to solve multidisciplinary challenges.
