About The Position
We are a highly collaborative group at the Center of Biomedical and Health Research in Data Sciences (CHORDS) at University of Massachusetts Lowell seeking a biomedical data scientist (PhD level). In this position, you will use neural networks, SQL, Python, R and work with diverse cutting-edge health records data and genomics data.
Requirements
- PhD in a computational or quantitative field
- Experience with both the computational and mathematical side of machine learning models
- Communication skills
- Critical thinking skills

- Understanding of high school biology
- Interest in learning basics of biology
