About The Position

To achieve this, we have developed The Globe® Pulsed Field System – we have a fantastic technical team that has developed a product with strong, unique, and customer-valued differentiators versus other solutions on the market. We have built connections with key opinion leaders who are already using the Globe System and are helping to tell our story. We have obtained FDA approval and officially begun the commercial launch of the Globe® Pulsed Field System. This is a pivotal and exciting time in our journey, as we bring this life-changing technology to patients! As a member of the Cardiac Mapping team, you will have the opportunity to work across algorithm development, software, and biomedical research domains. Please note, this opportunity is a hybrid work arrangement, located in Burnaby, BC.

Requirements

Excellent communication skills
Good object-oriented and data analysis programming skills, typically with MATLAB, Java, and/or Python
A keen desire to produce high quality code
Highly proactive and able to execute tasks with minimal instruction and guidance
Enthusiastic about finding innovative solutions to unforeseen challenges
A history of success working in self-guided and team settings
A high degree of drive and motivation
Acquire high quality and reliable data during benchtop testing

Responsibilities

Supporting the Cardiac Mapping team in developing and evaluating algorithms and other software tools for electro-anatomical mapping and atrial navigation
Software development, including objected oriented programming (OOP) and software version control (git)
Data analysis and visualization
Experimental design supplemented with possibility for hands-on experimentation
Providing periodic updates on technical work to internal team members and broader stakeholders (e.g. cross-functional teams and leadership)
