About The Position
Provide technical assistance and support for the proper utilization and maintenance of Prime Healthcare Management, Inc.’s medical equipment. This includes equipment used in emergency care, cardiac treatment and rehabilitation, occupational and physical therapy, inpatient and outpatient surgery, imaging and diagnostic services, and intensive care. Oversee maintenance and repairs of these systems and equipment to ensure optimum utilization at the facility.
Requirements
- Able to troubleshoot and read schematics and/or blueprints.
- Valid California driver’s license.
- Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, or a related field.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Good verbal communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- 0–1 years of experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance and support for proper utilization and maintenance of medical equipment.
- Oversee maintenance and repair of medical systems and equipment to ensure optimum utilization.
- Evaluate the safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of current medical equipment.
- Develop methods and procedures for testing biomedical devices and equipment and ensuring optimal performance standards.
