Johnson & Johnson is separating its Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone company, DePuy Synthes. This Co-Op position is with the Biomaterials Research and Development group within DePuy Synthes, which focuses on developing implants using new materials technologies such as polymers, ceramics, composites, and drug-device combination products. The Co-Op will work in a collaborative R&D laboratory environment, assisting scientists and engineers with fabricating device prototypes and conducting various tests (mechanical, chemical, biological, simulated use) to evaluate device performance.
