About The Position
The Ohio State University Marion Campus seeks a 100% FTE 9/12 lecturer to teach Biology and Evolution, Ecology, & Organismal Biology courses in academic year 2026-2027. Responsible for facilitation of in-class learning activities, assessments (i.e., quizzes, exams, and homework if applicable), offering of weekly office hours, submission of grades, and resolution of any ongoing student or course issues.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or equivalent in Biology or related field.
- Evidence of successful teaching at a post-secondary level.

Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver courses in formats that could include in classroom, online, or hybrid.
- Contribute to the creation and improvement of course content.
- Facilitate in-class learning activities.
- Administer assessments (i.e., quizzes, exams, and homework if applicable).
- Offer weekly office hours.
- Submit grades.
- Resolve any ongoing student or course issues.
