Remote Biology Expert
About The Position
As a remote Biology Expert, you will help fine-tune large language models using your biology knowledge. You will design problems, assess how well AI solves them, and work with researchers to build and refine benchmarks across undergraduate- to PhD-level biology topics. No AI experience is required. Assignments are contract roles with defined start and end dates and may offer up to 40 hours per week. The pay rate is $100 or more per hour, depending on the role and candidate expertise. Shortlisted experts complete an evaluation before selection. Turing describes itself as a research accelerator for frontier AI labs and a partner to global enterprises deploying advanced AI systems. Requirements
- A PhD, either in progress or completed, in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
- Strong biology reasoning and problem-solving skills across advanced domains.
- Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly in writing and provide structured feedback.
- No AI experience is required.
