Germanna Community College is seeking an Adjunct Biology (Anatomy and Physiology) instructor for the 2027 Academic Year. This position is responsible for effectively planning and teaching courses in Biology (Anatomy and Physiology) to students with diverse academic backgrounds. The instructor will teach both in-person and/or online during the day. Adjunct faculty are employed to teach up to 12 credit hours in the fall and spring semester and/or up to 8 credit hours during summer session. Teaching load is based on student enrollment and staffing needs. The adjunct faculty contract has no expectation or guarantee of continued employment. This posting is intended to establish a pool of qualified adjunct candidates for anticipated instructional needs for 2027. Actual hiring and course assignments are contingent upon enrollment, scheduling demands, program needs, and funding availability. This position is located in Virginia and requires the candidate to reside within a reasonable commuting distance or be willing to relocate.
