The Biology Department of the School of Sciences and Health Professions at Simmons University is seeking applicants for adjunct instructor positions in the Biology Department to teach BIOL 231 Labs and/or BIOL232 Labs in person, to begin September 2, 2026 and end December 19, 2026. Course Description BIOL 231L - Anatomy and Physiology I Labs - Presents an integrated approach to the fundamental facts and concepts of human anatomy and physiology. Examines the constituents of the human body through investigation of tissue types and histology, with further emphasis on skeletal, muscular, and nervous systems, and endocrine control. Laboratory includes histology, gross anatomy, dissection, and physiological experiments. BIOL 232L - Anatomy and Physiology II Labs - Introduces structural relationships and functional integration of major systems of the human body, with emphasis on cardiovascular, lymphatic, immunological, respiratory, digestive, metabolism, renal, reproductive, and homeostatic systems. Laboratory includes histology, gross anatomy, dissection, and physiological experiments.
