About The Position
This role will work independently to maintain large datasets, execute queries in order to analyze and trouble-shoot results from novel epigenome-profiling assays. Test, standardize and implement analysis pipelines for sequencing and epigenomics analyses. Integrate genomics data with clinical metadata from large-scale pediatric cancer studies. Provide training and mentorship to junior level staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Math, or Biological Sciences (e.g. Molecular Biology, or Genetics), or related field
- At least seven (7) years post-degree experience
- Working with scientific computing languages (such as R, Python)
- Working with general programming languages (e.g. SQL, Perl)
- Working with high-performance computing clusters (e.g. SUN Grid Engine)
Nice To Haves
- Master’s Degree or higher in Microbiology, Biochemistry, Immunology, or related field
