The Lundquist Institute for Biomedical Innovation at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center (TLI) is Los Angeles County's preeminent independent, not-for-profit biomedical research hub, excelling in transforming scientific breakthroughs into practical therapies. The Bioinformatics Analyst I supports translational oncology research through the analysis and interpretation of high-throughput omics data, including next-generation sequencing (NGS), epigenomics, transcriptomics, and proteomics datasets. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining bioinformatics workflows and databases, analyzing clinical and research data, accessing and integrating publicly available omics datasets, and collaborating with investigators, laboratory personnel, and other bioinformaticians to advance research objectives.
