This position is for a Biogeochemistry Research Specialist within the soil biogeochemistry program led by Professor Margenot in the Agroecosystem Sustainability Center (ASC) of the Institute for Sustainability, Energy & Environment (iSEE) at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. The program focuses on foundational and applied research concerning agroecosystem functions, with a particular emphasis on nutrient cycling and management within US Midwest systems. The role involves generating lab-based data for specific projects related to soil phosphorus management, carbon sequestration, nitrogen cycling and balances, and nutrient leaching across experimental agroecosystem treatments in the North Central US. This position requires in-person work on campus and is eligible for sponsorship for work authorization.
