About The Position

Eurofins PSS is hiring a Biochemist to perform laboratory work involving mammalian cell culture and flow cytometry. The role includes maintaining mammalian cell lines, conducting single- and/or multi-color flow cytometry, documenting experiments, and delivering data on time. The Biochemist also supports troubleshooting, operation, and maintenance of laboratory instrumentation, and develops and maintains knowledge of laboratory operations. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with overtime as needed. Candidates must be authorized to work indefinitely in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree with at least 4 years of relevant laboratory experience, or a master's degree with at least 2 years of relevant laboratory experience.
Experience maintaining and troubleshooting a variety of mammalian cell cultures.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated aseptic technique.
Ability to learn new techniques and perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to keep timely and accurate records and follow instructions.
Ability to identify and implement operational and organizational improvements.
Ability to comply with company policies and GLP processes.
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Exposure to operating and programming laboratory automation and liquid handling.
