BioCAD Technician - Winter '26
About The Position
3D Systems Healthcare is hiring a temporary BioCAD Technician for its peak season from November 2026 to January 2027. The assignment is expected to last 2–3 months, and requires a commitment for the full period. There may be an opportunity to transition to a permanent role based on business needs and job performance. This entry-level opportunity is suited to recent graduates, current students, and professionals seeking hands-on experience with 3D printing and medical device technologies. The role is onsite five days per week. Compensation is $21.00–$25.00 per hour. As a temporary position, it is not eligible for benefits.
Requirements
- Must have a degree in, be pursuing a degree in, or have an equivalent combination of education and work experience in a design or engineering discipline.
- Experience in 3D design using CAD or 3D modeling software.
- Commitment to the full 2–3 month temporary assignment.
Nice To Haves
- General knowledge of human anatomy.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of Adobe InDesign.
- High attention to detail.
- Professional communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and independently.
Responsibilities
- Use 3D CAD software to create medical devices and manipulate data.
- Create detailed reports for medical devices and anatomical data.
- Use database management software to manage case details and workflow.
- Complete all quality-related traveler documentation.
- Organize case data, parts, and related documentation.
- Operate laser scanning machines to convert and digitize data.
