About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Bioanalytical Chemist to support the analysis of protein and small molecule therapeutics in a laboratory setting. This role is ideal for candidates with hands-on analytical experience who are comfortable working independently while maintaining high-quality laboratory practices.

Requirements

Minimum of a B.S degree in biochemistry, analytical chemistry, chemistry, or related discipline
2-6 years of experience working with biological molecules using an array of analytical methodologies
Knowledge in protein biochemistry and analytical chemistry
Experience using some or all of the following techniques: HPLC/ UPLC, SDS-PAGE, iCE, CE, and/or peptide mapping for analysis of biologicals including proteins, antibodies, peptides, and conjugates
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a laboratory environment
Verbal and written communication skills
Cooperation and teamwork skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Microsoft Excel
Self-awareness
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without sponsorship

Nice To Haves

Experience with iCE (imaged capillary electrophoresis)
Strong HPLC or UHPLC skills
Knowledge of compendial assays (USP/EP methods)
Knowledge of electronic notebooks and LIMS

Responsibilities

Responsible for performing HPLC/ UPLC, SDS-PAGE, iCE, and CE and applying these methods to a broad range of biotherapeutics for early and late-stage products.
Run instrumentation independently including, but not limited to UPLC/HPLC, iCE, CGE, pH, and UV-vis spectroscopy
Preparing samples and standards for analysis and running instrumentation with minimal supervision
The candidate is expected to tabulate and provide data to their customers
Perform monthly maintenance of laboratory equipment and other laboratory support activities
