About The Position

XWELL is a travel, health, and wellness brand serving airport travelers. Its XpresTest team partners with the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to detect and sequence 30 pathogens that could be introduced into the United States by international travelers. The Bio-Security Specialist engages with travelers and supports pathogen surveillance by collecting flight wastewater samples for analysis. The role also involves maintaining a professional, welcoming station environment and following applicable health, safety, hygiene, confidentiality, and operational procedures. Full-time positions only.

Requirements

Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency using computer systems.
Ability to remain calm and composed in demanding environments.
A minimum of 1–2 years of customer-facing experience.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in customer service and hospitality.
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations.
High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

Greet passengers warmly and create a positive first impression.
Maintain a professional and ethical approach when interacting with the traveling public.
Collect flight wastewater samples to identify and analyze pathogens.
Collaborate with management and staff to support a cohesive and positive work environment.
Participate in team meetings and training sessions to develop skills and stay informed about CDC updates.
Follow regulations and policies related to station operations.
Maintain the confidentiality of participants’ information.
Follow hygiene and sanitation standards, including proper cleaning and sanitization.
Follow XWELL health and safety policies and procedures.
Keep the station area clean and orderly.
Report maintenance issues to appropriate personnel.
