About The Position

As a Bindery Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, running, and maintaining bindery equipment to ensure high-quality print materials. Our operators are dedicated to maintaining the highest safety standards while meeting production schedules. They play a vital role in ensuring that our clients’ materials are professionally finished and delivered on time, contributing to our mission of enabling our clients to achieve their goals effectively.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent and/or equivalent military experience.
  • 3+ years of experience operating bindery equipment in a print production environment.
  • 3+ years of experience in performing equipment setups and adjustments.
  • 2+ years of experience in troubleshooting and performing minor maintenance on bindery machinery.
  • Must currently possess valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization to be considered for this role. Individuals with temporary visas including, but not limited to, F-1 (OPT, CPT, STEM), H-1B, H-2, or TN, or any candidate requiring sponsorship, now or in the future, will not be considered for this role.

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of experience in working with different types of bindery equipment (e.g., perfect binders, case binders).
  • 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Certification in industrial machinery mechanics or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Operate various bindery equipment, including cutters, folders, stitchers, and laminators.
  • Set up and adjust machinery to meet the specifications of each job.
  • Monitor the quality of finished products and perform maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with the team to meet production deadlines and maintain workflow efficiency.
  • Perform troubleshooting and minor repairs to equipment as necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards.
  • Record production data and report any issues to the supervisor.
